Fun Humpback Whale Fact: Every year, humpback mums cruise north to warmer Aussie waters to give birth, then glide back south with their calves to feast in cooler seas. Bubbas are born at a whopping 900kg and slurp down around 300 litres of milk a day — all while keeping up with mum on the move! Calves stick close for about a year, learning whale-y important life skills.
